NEW UPGRADED Stentor ‘Conservatoire 1’ 4/4 violin outfit with case and carbon fibre bow.
Upgrade of the instrument is undertaken in Moseley Violins’ own workshop and includes of re-fitting and lubricating pegs dressing top-nut, re-setting sound-post; and adjusting bridge fitting to ensure the instruments plays and sounds to its best. Also includes a string upgrade to Thomastik Alphayue strings.
May also be available in 1/4, 1/2 or 3/4 sizes.
Conservatoire violins have a carved spruce front and carved flamed maple back and ribs, finished in Stentor’s Shellax™ varnish which has been developed over many years. With ebony fittings and traditional inlaid purfling.
With a selected carbon fibre bow and a ‘deluxe’ oblong lightweight case with integral cover, carrying strap, music pocket, hygrometer and case blanket.
