NEW UPGRADED – Stentor Student II 3/4 or 7/8 size Violin Outfit with carbon composite bow

All  instruments are set up  and upgraded in our own workshop.

As well as the usual Stentor 11  full size violin outfits, we stock  7/8 size outfits which are slightly smaller in size than a full size violins.

They are particularly suitable for smaller adults  or young people, not quite ready for  full size instruments.

7/8th size dimensions are: Length of back: 34.5cms. String length: 31.8cms. Stop length: 18.9cms

All sizes include a styrofoam-based case, carbon fibre bow and rosin.

Upgrade of the instrument is undertaken  in Moseley Violins’ own workshop and includes re-fitting and lubricating pegs, dressing  the top-nut, re-setting sound-post, and adjusting bridge fitting to ensure the instruments plays and sounds to its best. A well set-up instrument will encourage students to keep playing.

We also have replaced the bow with carbon fibre bow to ensure consistency in weight  and robustness.
