AS01/ 83 Circa 2009 Handmade English viola bow by John Clutterbuck. Branded. Pernambuco round stick (dark brown colour). Silver mounted, with three-band adjuster button (silver-ebony-silver). Abalone top slide. Parisian eye on ebony frog. Serial number: 23 09 on underside of stick (frog area). 74.6 grams.
John Clutterbuck (born 1949) was employed by the firm of W.E. Hill & Sons as a bow maker until 1971.
