English maker Anthony Perry has made over 80 violins and violas in a career spanning more than 40 years. He specializes in making full-size, but slightly smaller-proportioned, instruments (in terms of body and/or stop come to Moseley Violins. This violin has a well flamed maple back with matching ribs, neck and scroll. The pegs are heart shaped in boxwood. The tailpiece, chinrest and endpin are also of boxwood. The violin is fitted with Pirastro Evah Pirazzi strings.
