AS02/ 38 Bharat Khandekar 4/4 violin. 1993

Bharat Khandekar, former master tutor at the renowned School of Violin Making in Newark-upon-Trent, is a highly respected luthier in the violin trade. His relationship with the school spans decades transitioning from a student to senior tutor on advanced violin repair and restorations. Here we have a traditionally crafted instrument by Bharat with a warm amber-brown varnish. The front is of fine grained spruce whilst the rib, back, neck and scroll are of exceptional flamed maple.
