MV15/ 76B German violin. Circa 1920’s. Erroneously labelled ‘ Johannes Christian Fiker, Lauden und Geigenmacher, Neukirchen Bey Adorf, 1700’. With D’Addario Helicore strings. Restored at Moseley Violins. Upgraded with Wittner fine tuner pegs

Made of one piece back and decorative ‘herringbone’ edging with double purfling. Plain wood scroll. Restored and set up at Moseley Violins with new bridge, sound-post, Wittner Finetune pegs and  Wittner tailpiece. Ebony fingerboard  and chinrest.

Markneukirchen is the main town of a small region in Eastern Germany, known for four centuries for the making  of musical instruments.
