MV19/ 57A Circa 1900’s German 4/4 Cello

This Strad model cello has a two piece back of lightly flamed maple with matching ribs whilst the neck is of a medium-flamed maple. The front is of European spruce with regular medium grain. The fingerboard is ebony. The instrument has been finished in a light brown spirit varnish and furnished with New rosewood pegs, Despiau bridge and a Wittner ultra tailpiece.

Set-up with Larsen Solo strings.
