CSM01/ 12A NEW 4/4 violin by John Langstaffe

John Langstaffe has been a full time professional violin maker since graduating with distinction from the internationally renowned Newark School of Violin Making in 1989. His instruments are played in many orchestras, both professional and amateur, and have also been used extensively in chamber ensembles and as solo instruments.

This well crafted violin is based on a 1753 Del Gesu model and finished in a radiant golden-amber varnish with subtle antiquing. There is a transparent feel to the varnish highlighting the medium grained spruce table and a two-piece flamed maple back with matching ribs, neck and scroll. Labelled ‘John Langstaffe Maker Pembridge 2025’

Furnished with ebony fittings and Larsen strings; This violin combines traditional aesthetics with a refined, professional presentation.
