Labelled: ‘Juraj Bedevic 1984’ this handmade violin has a one piece back of highly figured maple with matching ribs, neck and scroll. The front is of fine, regular grained spruce. The decorative pegs are of rosewood along with the endpin. The tailpiece and chinrest are boxwood. Inlaid purfling with decoration on the back.

A luminous transparent golden-amber varnish of warm orange-red hue over a brilliant golden ground which highlights the strong figured maple.
