AS02/ 41 Violin 4/4. Circa early 20th Century, Possibly French. Soundsample.

The violin is finished in a golden-brown varnish which enhances the striking flame of the two-piece maple back. Ribs neck and scroll are of matching maple. The front is of spruce and has a medium regular grain. The peg holes have been re-bushed at Moseley Violins with a new set of ebony pegs fitted. Tailpiece, chinrest and endpin are also of ebony. Set-up with Larsen strings at Moseley Violins.
